We told you earlier this week about DreamWorks' casting call for paid extras in a 'big budget' production, and we were the first to tell you that this 'big budget' film is actually the oddly anticipated 2nd film in the 'Transformers' franchise, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

Now that the casting call has come and gone we have some updates for you.  First off, the film is being worked on under the code name of Prime Directive, but don't get your Deep Space Nine shirts out of the drawer just yet - it doesn't have anything to do with J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot.  For those of you who don't know, popular films like this use fake 'working titles' to operate their productions under in order to keep the press or nosey fans away from the set so things don't get spoiled; The Dark Knight used "Rory's First Kiss" to do just this.

'Directive' will be shooting a couple of scenes in The Old Pueblo (that's Tucson!) the week of October 6th.  The scene casted for today will take place at Tucson International Airport and another scene is rumored to take place at DMAFB's 'Boneyard.'  No word on which characters/robotos from the film will appear in the scenes, or if the scenes are actually set in Tucson or not.

Those chosen to be extras in the film will be contacted by the casting associates sometime in the next week.  Don't call them, they'll call you.
